GuangDong DQS Electronic Group  provides pre- and post-production DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and DFA (Design for Assembly) checks as part of our one-stop electronic assembly service.

Our goal is to perform a comprehensive review of the design files before production — identifying current and potential issues in PCB manufacturing and assembly. This allows us to optimize your design, avoid unnecessary costs due to design errors (e.g. material, PCB, and soldering issues), and enhance both manufacturability and assemblability.

After production, we analyze the manufacturing process and identify design-related defects or inefficiencies. We then provide improvement suggestions to avoid losses during volume production and support our customers in the successful transition from prototype to mass production.

DFM/DFA Check Content:

• Verification of completeness, consistency, and accuracy of manufacturing and assembly documentation.
• Detection of abnormalities in PCB layout or design structure.
• Assessment of design compatibility with PCB manufacturing process capabilities.
• BOM (Bill of Materials) and coordinate file verification and cross-checking.
• Compatibility check between component footprints and pad design.
• Inspection of component spacing (pitch) and potential mechanical interference.
• Verification of component polarity and orientation markings.
• Identification of any other factors that could impact manufacturing or assembly.
